Built on a robust, lightweight platform, this depth finder is a professional "tool" for any weather and any terrain. Xtrem Hunter is the world's first FMF twin-box (2-box locator), which is sure to open up a multitude of possibilities for the dedicated professional. Everything is based on the DEUS II platform, making it a cost-effective addition to the XP family. You should pay attention to this when using
- When searching with the XP XTREM HUNTER, do not carry any metals on your body, such as cell phones, keys, belt buckles, shoes with metal inserts, etc.
- Outdoor shoes often contain metal inserts. Before searching, check with the Mi-6 Pinpointer that your shoes are free of metal.
- Always use headphones for perfect detection.
- The detection field is built up completely underneath(!) the search coils. In contrast to a "normal" VLF detector, metals can only be detected to a very limited extent above the coils.
- The Xtrem Hunter is a "no motion" detector and does not need to be swiveled.
