- Gute Metalldetektoren für ernsthafte Hobbynutzung kosten meist zwischen 200 und 700€ (z.b Nokta FINDX Pro oder Minelab X-Terra Elite ). Robuste, vielseitige Geräte im 300 – 600 €-Bereich bieten ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Profi-Modelle (z.b XP DEUS II 28 FMF RC WSA II ) können über 1000 € kosten oder sogar mehr. Wir raten von billigen Spielzeugdetektoren ab. Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal!
- Ein guter Metalldetektor sollte zuverlässig Eisen von anderen Metallen unterscheiden. Er braucht eine einstellbare Grundbalance, mehrere Suchmodi und eine einfache Handhabung. Eine gute Balance ist ebenfalls wichtig. Achte auf solide Wasserdichtigkeit, angemessene Suchtiefe und eine stabile Pinpoint-Funktion. Auch Preis-Leistung, Service und Ersatzteilverfügbarkeit sind entscheidend. Es gibt Modelle für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene, die leicht zu handhaben sind und präzise Ortung bieten. - Nein. Nicht jeder Metalldetektor kann Gold zuverlässig finden. Einfache Detektoren erkennen zwar Metall allgemein, sind aber oft schlecht bei kleinen Goldstücken. Für Goldsuche eignen sich spezielle Gold- oder VLF-Detektoren mit hoher Frequenz z.b XP ORX 24x13 ELL WSA oder Minelab GoldMonster 2000
- Die Reichweite eines Metalldetektors liegt meist zwischen 10 und 60 cm. Kleine Objekte, wie Münzen, werden oft nur 10–25 cm tief erkannt. Größere Metallteile können bis zu 40–60 cm erkannt werden. Diese Reichweite hängt ab von der Objektgröße, der Metallart, den Bodeneigenschaften, der Spulengröße und der Gerätequalität.

I am really impressed by the small parts sensitivity of the HF2 coil. Even tiny coins and small jewelry are detected cleanly. I've found quite a few things on heavily scrapped areas when hunting with it!

Unfortunately, we only give it 4 stars for this. The workmanship is great except for the ring that is screwed to the pointer between the lid. Since the retaining ring is unfortunately a little thicker, there is no contact between the lid pressure and the contacts to the pointer and so it does not go on. But otherwise top thing

I am thrilled with the XP DEUS II 28 FMF RC! The performance is phenomenal. The multi-frequency technology (FMF) is a real game changer. It enables impressive depth performance and target recognition, even on difficult surfaces. Operation via the remote control is intuitive. The device sits comfortably in the hand. The workmanship is excellent. The 28 cm coil offers a good balance. It combines search width and precision. Even without wireless headphones, the sound quality via the internal loudspeaker is good. An excellent, versatile device that is worth every penny!

I use the Renaissance wax for found objects such as coins and am delighted with it. The patina of the coins is beautifully preserved. It does darken a little, but the preservation is what counts. So I can pass on my treasures without hesitation. I'm not worried about residues from skin, grease or sweat attacking the material.

Very fast shipping and delivery and a very accommodating and extremely competent Mr. Licht, with whom a few questions about the product version could be clarified quickly. It is the new, current model, although Steve "RED" Wilcox's team, i.e. Gold-N-Sand, have somewhat "under-com-municated" this in their marketing. We have already tested the pump here on site and it works perfectly, is easier and more comfortable to use than expected, and all the accessories including the hose fit easily into the accompanying 2 gallon bucket. Satisfied all round!
