Once the coil, remote control, headphones, and pinpointer are paired, they communicate completely wirelessly and without delay via XP's patented wireless protocol system (10 x faster than Bluetooth).

This means that the finds/targets detected by the search coil are transmitted quickly and without delay to the headphones, giving the DEUS II absolutely unparalleled speed and accuracy. The user has the option to choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programs or between 49 single frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graphic below illustrates sensitivity and iron discrimination depending on the frequency. The advantage of XP's Fast Multi-Frequency programs, covering a wider spectrum of targets, is clearly visible. This is only a basic scheme and may vary depending on program and real terrain, but a higher find rate and search depth can be recognized.

+ 12 individually storable user programs provide extremely efficient application possibilities for professional users and make it easier for hobby beginners to achieve the highest find rate with simple operation.

With the patented, shockproof and waterproof remote control as the Deus II control module, also called RC, the internal settings of the DEUS II can be adjusted. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescopic pole via a practical clip holder or stored in the included belt pouch.

Typical for XP, assembling or disassembling the detector takes only a few seconds! And all without annoying cables! The patented FMF coil can also be exchanged in no time.

The slightly modified at the handle, 3-part S-telescopic pole swings excellently, comparatively much better than straight telescopic poles. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle is very comfortable and non-slip. We think: A metal detector cannot fit the hand better.

XP also presents with the Deus II the first bone conduction headphones for metal detectors optionally available as accessories. 
The listener produces the sound with encapsulated transducers that sit just in front of the auricles, i.e. where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and offer the user the ability to fully perceive ambient sounds without obstructive earcups covering the ears.

XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (optionally available as an accessory) can be used up to 20m diving depth and can also be used on land.
