XP pushes the high-end boundaries again with the Deus II. This new wireless multi-frequency metal detector is unique worldwide with its features and performance. Once the coil, remote control, headphones, and pinpointer are paired, they communicate completely wirelessly and with no delay using XP’s patented radio protocol system (10 times faster than Bluetooth).

This means that finds/targets detected by the search coil are instantly transmitted to the headphones, giving the DEUS II absolutely unparalleled speed and accuracy. Thanks to FMF® technology (Fast Multi Frequency), the DEUS II delivers excellent performance in any terrain and under all conditions, both on land and underwater.

The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programs or 49 single frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graphic below shows the sensitivity and iron discrimination ability based on frequency. Clearly visible is the advantage of XP Fast Multi-Frequency programs, covering a wider spectrum of targets. This is just a basic schematic which may vary depending on the program and actual terrain conditions; however, the higher find rate and search depth are apparent.

With the patented, shockproof, and waterproof remote control as the Deus II control module, also called RC, the internal settings of the DEUS II can be adjusted. The remote control can be clipped to the S-telescopic pole using a handy clip holder or stored in the included belt pouch.



Assembly and disassembly of the detector with XP typically takes only a few seconds! And all that without annoying cables! The patented FMF coil can also be swapped out in no time.

The slightly modified, 3-part S-telescopic pole swings excellently—significantly better compared to straight poles. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle is very comfortable and non-slip in the hand. We think: A metal detector can't feel better in the hand.


The XP Deus II remote control is IP68 certified, designed for a diving depth of up to 20m, and waterproof.   





With the Deus II, XP also introduces the first bone conduction headphones (Bone Conduction) for metal detectors, available optionally as an accessory. 
The headphones generate sound via encapsulated transducers placed just in front of the ears, at the temple where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have surprisingly good sound and allow the user to perceive environmental sounds completely, without obstructive ear cups that cover the ears.

XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (not included) can be used for diving up to 20m and also on land.
