Once the coil, remote control, headphones and pinpointer are paired, they communicate completely wirelessly and without delay using XP’s patented radio protocol system (10 x faster than BlueTooth).

This means that the finds / targets detected by the search coil are transmitted quickly and without delay to the headphones, giving the DEUS II absolutely unparalleled speed and accuracy. The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programs or among 49 single frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graphic below illustrates the sensitivity and iron discrimination ability as a function of frequency. You can clearly see the advantage of the XP Fast Multi-Frequency programs, which cover a wider range of targets. This is only a basic schematic which may vary depending on the program and real terrain conditions, but you can see the higher find rate and searching depth.

With the patented, shockproof and waterproof remote control as Deus II control module, also known as RC, the internal settings of the DEUS II can be adjusted. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescopic rod using a practical clip holder, or stowed in a supplied belt pouch.



Setting up and taking down the detector typically takes just a few seconds at XP! And all that without annoying cables! The patented FMF coil can also be changed in no time.

The slightly modified 3-part S-telescopic rod swings superbly, considerably better compared to straight telescopic rods. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle sits very comfortably and non-slip in the hand. We think: It is not possible for a metal detector to sit better in the hand.


The XP Deus II remote control is IP68 certified and mechanically designed to be waterproof for a diving depth of up to 20m.






The WSA II XL wireless headphones with their soft-fitting, ear-enclosing design offer excellent protection from cold and disturbing environmental noise.

With the Deus II, XP also presents the first optionally available bone conduction headphones (Bone Conduction) for metal detectors.
The headphones generate the sounds with encapsulated drivers that sit just in front of the auricles, i.e., where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and give the user the ability to perceive environmental noises completely, without obstructive headphone cups which cover the ears.

XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (not included) can be used up to 20m diving depth and can also be used on land.
