Once the coil, remote control, headphones and pinpointer are paired, they communicate via XP’s patented radio protocol system completely wirelessly and without delay (10 x faster than Bluetooth).

This means that the finds/targets detected by the search coil are quickly transmitted to the headphones without delay, giving DEUS II absolutely unparalleled speed and accuracy. Thanks to FMF® technology (Fast Multi Frequency), the DEUS II performs excellently in all terrains and in any condition, both on land and underwater.

The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programs or between 49 individual frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graphic below illustrates the sensitivity and iron discrimination capability as a function of frequency. The advantage of the XP Fast Multi-Frequency programs, which cover a wider spectrum of targets, can clearly be seen. This is only a basic schematic that may vary depending on program and real ground conditions, but a greater find rate and search depth can be seen.

+ 12 individually storable user programs provide extremely efficient applications for the professional and make it easier for the hobby beginner to achieve the highest find rate with simple operation.

With the patented, shockproof and waterproof remote control as Deus II control module, also called RC, the internal settings of the DEUS II can be adjusted. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescopic rod with a practical clip holder or stored in the supplied belt pouch.



Setup and dismantling of the detector, typically with XP, takes only a few seconds! All this without bothersome cables! The patented FMF coil can also be swapped instantly.

The slightly modified 3-piece S-telescopic rod swings excellently at the handle, much better comparatively than straight telescopic rods. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle feels very comfortable and secure in the hand. We think: A metal detector cannot sit better in the hand.


The XP Deus II remote control is IP68 certified and mechanically designed and waterproof for a diving depth up to 20m.   





XP also presents with the Deus II the first optional bone conduction headphones (Bone Conduction) for metal detectors.
The transducers create tones with encapsulated drivers sitting just in front of the auricles, exactly where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones produce an astonishingly good sound and enable the user to perceive environmental noise fully without the cumbersome headphone cups covering the ears.

XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (not included) can be used up to 20m diving depth and are also suitable for land use.
