The Bullseye Pinpointer is primarily used for pinpoint detection, i.e. for quickly locating ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals in excavation holes. This pinpointer protects valuable finds such as coins, brooches, jewelry and other precious metals from scratches and damage by Grabungswerkzeuge and is thereforean indispensable detector for explorers that fits in every jacket pocket!
The Bullseye 2 pinpointer offers a fantastic price-performance ratio and is a real alternative to the expensive pinpointers over 100,- or the many cheap, similar pinpointers from China, all of which have considerable processing deficits and usually show the first defects after a few weeks.
The Bullseye 2 is completely different: the whole pinpointer makes a very high-quality impression. As soon as you pick up the device for the first time, you will be delighted. The on/off switch is completely protected with rubber to prevent damage from dust and moisture.
The loudspeaker produces a sufficiently loud and clear signal tone and the LED for illuminating the excavation site makes recovering finds from the excavation hole a pleasure. The probe is firmly attached to the housing. The battery compartment flap (1 x 9 volt block) snaps cleanly and securely into place.
A slide switch in the battery compartment can be used to select between the two operating modes - silent vibration or signal reproduction via loudspeaker. The Bullseye 2 is also splash-proof and fits perfectly in the hand. Our recommendation for every prospector!
It convinced me and is perfectly adequate for beginners.
Stable and great functions!
The device does an excellent job. However, it is a pity that there is no holster, but I have taken a leather holster from Mag-Lite (originally intended for the AA lamp). Fits great, as if it was made for it.
Good pinpointer for beginners with a small budget, but with deductions in the B grade. A positive feature of the Bullseye II is the choice between audio or vibration using the switch in the battery compartment. The pinpointer locates well with slight weaknesses on small objects. For the price, you can't expect the same performance as the Garrett Pro Pointer or Pro Pointer-AT, for example. Depending on the object, the detection range is around 2.5-3 cm compared to the Pro Pointer-AT with 5-6 cm (air test). A negative aspect is the durability of the rod sheathing, which rubbed through within 2 years, especially at the tip. In addition, the button for locating has to be held down permanently. Nevertheless, the Bullseye II has served me well, hence 4 stars. Sondeldiewaldfee
