The new Whites MX7 is the successor to the MX5 with a new technical and optical design. The operating frequency of 13.8 Khz reveals the intention of the manufacturer, who with the MX7 offers an "all-round detector" that is suitable for all types of search. The Whites MX7 is also very flexible in terms of sound differentiation, with a choice of 2 - 4 - 8 or 20 tones, providing maximum information about the audio source. An integrated crossover reliably prevents detection interference from other nearby Metalldetektoren. The display is clearly laid out. The illumination can be selected in 5 brightness levels.
A striking feature of the MX7 is its detection stability in the event of interference without any false or interfering signals, as is often the case with other detectors in this price segment - the sensitivity must then be reduced, which is known to result in a significant loss of depth. This is not the case with the MX7: in the vicinity of interference sources, the sensitivity of the MX7 can be reduced without any significant loss of performance in order to achieve optimum performance at all times.
