The XP ORX 24x13 ELL HF is the light, wireless metal detector from French manufacturer XP Metal Detectors – deliberately simple, ready to go with 4 factory programs. The 24 × 13 cm high-frequency coil (9.5" × 5") runs at 14 · 30 · 80 kHz and is built for gold, small targets and thin hammered coins. Headphones are not included: the remote's built-in speaker provides the audio, and WSA wireless headphones or your own jack headphones can be added at any time.

ORX remote
Clear, backlit display: on the stem, on your wrist or on your belt – you decide where the control sits.
Simple & fast
4 factory programs for coins/relics and gold, plus 2 user programs. Switch on, pick a program, go.
High-frequency technology
21 frequencies from 13–81 kHz: very sensitive to gold, small silver coins and thin metal.
Elliptical & nimble
The slim 24 × 13 cm coil reaches between stones, roots and along walls and separates targets very sharply.
Built-in speaker
The remote has a built-in speaker. Headphones can be added at any time.
100 % wireless
Coil, remote, headphones and MI-6 communicate digitally – no cable to snag or break.
Coverage of the ORX coils
The larger the coil, the more ground per swing. Smaller coils separate closely spaced targets better.
Relative coverage compared with the 34 × 28 cm X35 coil. HF and X35 coils are interchangeable on the ORX.
The XP wireless system
All components communicate digitally – without a single cable.
Gold & tiny targets
The high frequencies reliably find small gold, thin silver coins, hammered coins and small items.
Iron-infested sites
Fast recovery and a compact coil separate good targets even among nails and iron trash – typical of old settlement sites.
Mineralised ground
Automatic ground balance via fast grab or manual – the ORX runs smoothly even on difficult soil.
Beach & wet meadows
The coil is waterproof and a salt mode is built in. For use in water there is the underwater kit.
When another set fits better
- If depth on large fields is your priority – the ORX X35 28 is the better choice.
- If you want the XY screen, expert menus, more programs or control via WS4/WS5 – the DEUS is the right choice.
- If you want to dive or use simultaneous multi-frequency – the DEUS II is the right choice.
