2 Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are labelled with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 per cent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 per cent cadmium by mass or more than 0.004 per cent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is shown under the dustbin symbol - "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead and "Hg" for mercury." Safety and warning information on charging the rechargeable batteries (battery) Never leave the rechargeable batteries unattended during the charging process. Always place the battery and charger on a fireproof surface during the charging process and keep flammable objects away from them. Only use the original Clean Smoker power supply unit and charger for the charging process. If you use other products, you do so at your own risk.
