The extremely popular all-in-one treasure and gold detector, the Minelab Equinox 900, has received an even better version in 2023.

Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology
The Equinox 900 is the first Metalldetektoren to utilize Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology and work on all frequencies simultaneously. It offers search frequencies of 4, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz. You have the choice of searching on a single frequency or using the Multi-IQ function, where the Equinox 900 searches on all frequencies simultaneously. Using a low frequency of 5 kHz enables greater depth detection, while a search frequency of 40 kHz makes the detector particularly sensitive to small objects and gold nuggets. Multi-IQ technology combines the advantages of all five frequencies to achieve optimum results.

Waterproof to 5 meters
Fully waterproof up to 5 meters under water, suitable for fresh and salt water, even probing in the rain is no problem with the Equinox 900.

Search programs
Whether you are swinging in the goldfields or snorkeling on the beach, the Equinox 900 knows no limits and finds all targets and masters any terrain. It has 8 search modes. 2 search modes for parks, 2 for fields, 2 for beaches and 2 for searching for gold. These 8 programs can be set as desired and are also saved. In addition, it has a quick button for a custom program, which you can also set as you wish. Finally, you can save 9 programs.

Built-in Bluetooth including ML-85 Bluetooth headphones
The Minelab Equinox 900 has built-in Bluetooth and comes with ML-85 Low Latency Bluetooth headphones. There is also a waterproof 3.5 mm jack connection for optional wired headphones or underwater headphones. In addition, the volume can be adjusted directly via the control unit.

Built-in Li-ion battery
A built-in Li-ion battery, which is located in the handle, is rechargeable via a magnetic USB connection. The battery life is approx. 10 - 12 hours. You can also charge the Equinox via USB using a power bank while searching, so you can search and charge at the same time!



Weight, 2 search coils and ground balance
The weight of the Minelab Equinox 900 Metalldetektoren is only 1.28 kg! And that's with a powerful, large 28 cm DD search coil (EQX 11). An additional 15 cm/6" (EQX 6) search coil is also included, which makes the detector even lighter. This search coil is also very suitable for searching in water and in areas where there is a lot of waste. A large 38 x 30 cm coil (EQX 15) is also available as an option. The ground adjustment can be carried out both automatically and manually. Manual soil adjustment is important for difficult soil conditions or heavily mineralized soils. You can also set the device to tracking. The Equinox 900 then automatically adjusts to the soil.

Response speed
The reaction speed of the Equinox can be set in 8 stages. If you set the value low, you get maximum search depth; if you set it high, you can easily detect closely spaced objects separately. With the Equinox 900 you will never miss an object again!



Object identification
This Metalldetektoren has an object identification with guide values, which you can read on the clear and easy-to-read display. The conductance values run from -19 to 0 for ferrous objects and from 1 to 99 for the detection of more valuable objects, with silver objects having higher conductance values and gold objects having a medium-high conductance value. Of course, you can also hide the iron objects from -19 to 0 using the discrimination function. You can use the horseshoe button to quickly and easily switch the discrimination of iron on and off.

Display illumination, button illumination and coil illumination
The Equinox 900 has red display illumination in various brightness levels, button illumination and coil illumination. The perfect device for searching at dusk or in dark areas.

Pinpoint function and software updates
There is also a pinpoint function for recording the exact location. You can use the pinpoint function to quickly and accurately excavate objects. It is also possible to carry out Equinox software updates via USB.
