The GOLIATH EX2 retrieval magnet is used to retrieve and lift iron and steel objects (usually hidden in water). Due to its extremely high adhesive force, significantly heavier metal objects can now also be recovered. The GOLIATH can now also be used to retrieve iron objects that are stuck in sediment (mud, silt, sand).


The GOLIATH EX2 is a top-class recovery magnet and, in this design and with its technical data, represents a new milestone in the Magneten recovery sector. Special emphasis was placed on both performance optimization and manageability in the design.

The construction

The Goliath consists of 2 parts. One is the actual Magneten, the other is a handle. Both parts can be fitted with a sturdy hanging loop, meaning that the Magneten can be hung up with or without the handle.

The handle in turn has several "functions". On the one hand, it serves to release the Magneten if it sticks strongly to an iron object. Depending on the degree of adhesion to the metal, this requires a considerable amount of force, as the magnet body is quite bulky (Ø 70 mm) but proportionally quite short, making it difficult to grip.

On the other hand, due to its design, the handle increases the adhesive force of the Magneten, which is of course desirable depending on the application.

Of course, the EX II cannot simply be used to lift an iron block weighing 260 kg. Even if rust, paint or other impurities are adhering, the holding and lifting force decreases. However, due to the considerable power reserves, it is simply much more likely to recover a heavy iron object or one that is stuck in the mud.

Caution!

Not only "friendly" iron objects can be brought to the surface with recovery magnets! Ammunition of all kinds can also stick to them! The Goliath EX - 2 Ultimate Power Magneten is not a children's toy.

When searching, always observe the legal regulations and, if in doubt, have your found object examined by the local police or an ammunition disposal service!
