Cancellation policy

Please note: this English translation is provided for your convenience. Only the German version of this text is legally binding.

Please note: To check that detectors and coils work properly, it is not necessary to use them in the field and scratch or dirty them in the process. A "dry test" without use in the field is sufficient. For returned equipment and goods that are scratched, dirty or damaged, or whose value has been reduced by signs of use of any kind, we will charge compensation for the loss in value. Excluded from exchange/withdrawal are in particular: batteries, rechargeable batteries, electronic components (spare parts), used digging tools, hygiene articles (e.g. gloves), backpacks and finds pouches with drinking bottles, if their seal has been removed or the goods are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons.

Cancellation policy – contracts for the supply of goods

If the customer is a trader (§ 14 BGB, German Civil Code), there is no right of withdrawal or return under § 312g BGB in conjunction with § 355 BGB. The right of withdrawal only applies to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession).

Voluntary right of return (30 days)
In addition to your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, you can return goods to us within 30 days of receipt. If you return the goods only after the statutory withdrawal period has expired, we will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the goods; the original shipping costs will not be refunded in this case. You bear the cost of returning the goods. The details are set out in section 4a of our terms and conditions. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

The customer bears the cost of returning the goods.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from the contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Reasons for exclusion or expiry

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts:

• for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the customer is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the customer's personal needs.

The right of withdrawal expires early for contracts:

• for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been removed after delivery;
• for the supply of goods if, after delivery, they have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature;
• for the supply of books in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.
