We bought this chute as a supplement to the 10-piece gold panning set and have now used it twice, in a nutshell, BOMB! Does what it is supposed to do, namely reliably catch gold flakes, in combination with the two sieves from the set, an old bucket and a shovel, you have much more material turnover than with just the pan! Accordingly, more in the pan in the evening ;) Good luck!
