Product description
You don't have to travel to exotic places to indulge your treasure fever.
Treasures are also waiting for you in our home regions. Perhaps you've been following Heiko Marschner's adventures in discovering the treasures of Wettin with bated breath? Or the tracking down of the Rülzheim barbarian treasure? I'm sure your eyes light up when you think of the Nebra Sky Disk or the coins of Haithabu?
Over the last 2000 years, coins and jewelry have been hidden, lost and buried incessantly.
Treasure - a word that resonates with magic. Who doesn't dream of finding treasure one day? According to scientists' calculations, several thousand tons of precious metals are hidden in Germany's soil alone. This book not only provides all the necessary knowledge about promising locations, the appropriate selection and correct use of Metalldetektoren and other equipment, but also what to do once you have stumbled across a "treasure". The book is rounded off with expert tips worth their weight in gold as well as amusing and gripping stories from the life of a treasure hunter.
