The bone conduction headphones of the XP DEUS II are designed exclusively for use with this metal detector system. They have been specially and electronically tuned to the signal processing and system architecture of the XP DEUS II. Use with other devices is therefore not intended. Accordingly, there is no adapter with which the bone conduction headphones could be connected to other devices or alternative audio sources, or operated with them. 

The XP Deus 2 Bone Conduction Headphones leave your ears free. The headphones produce the sounds using encapsulated transducers that sit just in front of the auricles, i.e., where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and offer users the opportunity to perceive environmental noises completely without obstructive headphone cups covering their ears.

XP Deus 2 Bone Conduction Headphones are also waterproof and can be used on land and when snorkeling/diving. When using conventional waterproof headphones underwater, the ear fills with water, and the hearing's sound reception is often reduced. Because the BH-01 sits in front of the ears on the zygomatic bone, the sound is transmitted through vibrations on the bones directly to the inner ear, without putting strain on the eardrum. Your ears remain free!




These innovative headphones also allow hearing-impaired individuals to feel the vibrations produced by targets, depending on the type of hearing system alteration. Lowering the Deus 2 audio frequencies (100 to 300Hz) could further improve perception depending on the impairment.
