The VANQUISH 560 is the most powerful model of Minelab’s new Vanquish 60 series. It combines Minelab’s proven Multi-IQ technology with extensive settings, wireless audio and full waterproofing – and is aimed at detectorists who want to detect without compromise.

Multi-IQ – multi-frequency technology in practice

At the heart of the VANQUISH 560 is Minelab’s Multi-IQ technology. Unlike conventional single-frequency detectors, it transmits and receives several frequencies at the same time. This allows more precise target identification, improved depth and stable performance in changing ground conditions – whether iron-rich farmland, mineralised ground or wet beach sand. Four preset search modes (Park, Field, Beach and a freely configurable User Profile) let you start immediately in different types of terrain without complicated setup.

Controls and discrimination

The VANQUISH 560 offers 10 sensitivity levels and 30 discrimination segments for reliably masking out unwanted targets. The target ID range runs from -19 to 99, giving 119 values for differentiated target classification. Iron Bias can be adjusted in four levels – helpful on trashy sites where iron signals can mask valuable finds. Five target tones with separately adjustable iron volume allow a clear audible distinction between different metal groups. The pinpoint function helps you narrow down a target precisely before digging.

Signal feedback and ease of use

In addition to audio output, the VANQUISH 560 has vibration in the handle. This is particularly useful in noisy surroundings, in wind or when using headphones – a signal is noticed even when the tone is hard to hear.

Display and lighting

The red LED display remains easy to read in poor light without being distractingly bright. An integrated torch makes it easier to work at dusk or dig finds in the dark.

Audio options

The VANQUISH 560 supports Bluetooth LE Audio with the LC3 codec for low latency and wireless flexibility. There is also a 3.5 mm jack output for wired headphones and a built-in speaker.

Waterproofing and ruggedness

With IP68 certification, the VANQUISH 560 can be used to a water depth of 5 metres – suitable for beaches, rivers, lakes and wet terrain. The integrated lithium-ion battery delivers up to 10 hours of runtime on one charge and is charged via a magnetic USB-C charging cable. The operating temperature range is -10 °C to +40 °C.

Dimensions and weight

Extended: 142 cm. Collapsed: 79.5 cm. Weight: 1.26 kg. The S-shaft can be adjusted to your height. Thanks to the low weight, even longer searches are possible without excessive fatigue.

Search coils

The Pro-Pack includes two Double-D coils. The V12X (30 x 23 cm / 12 x 9 inches) offers greater coverage and is well suited to open ground. The V8X (20 x 15 cm / 8 x 5 inches) is designed for tight or trashy areas where separation and accuracy matter more than coverage. Both coils come with a coil cover and are covered by a 3-year warranty.
