FMF — three frequencies, one technology
FMF® technology (Fast Multi Frequency) processes several frequencies at the same time. It delivers much higher sensitivity across the entire metal spectrum than single-frequency detectors — especially on coin-sized targets and in mineralised ground. With the XP ICON you can also switch to one of the two single frequencies if the ground or the target requires it.
4 kHz
Low frequency for high penetration — ideal for large, highly conductive objects such as silver and copper coins and relics.
14 kHz
Medium frequency with a balanced sensitivity and depth profile. The classic all-rounder for fields and meadows.
FMF Multi RECOMMENDED
Simultaneous multi-frequency for maximum sensitivity across the entire target range — the recommended default setting.
Three factory programs for every terrain
The XP ICON comes with three factory-optimised programs covering typical search scenarios. In addition, three user memory slots are available.
