* Coil and remote are waterproof to 20 m, the headphones are not. For diving use the optional XP DEUS II bone conduction headphones.
RC remote control
Main control with backlit 8,192-pixel display, shockproof and waterproof to 20 m – on land, at the beach and when diving.
WSA XL ST – comfort & quiet
Over-ear design that shields wind and ambient noise. Ideal for long days in the field. True stereo from software V4.
FMF technology
Fast Multi Frequency transmits several frequencies from 4–45 kHz simultaneously for cleaner target separation and more stability in mineralised ground.
Agile & precise
The small 22 cm coil separates closely spaced targets particularly well – ideal for trashy sites, woodland between roots and stones, and old settlement sites.
100 % wireless
Coil, control, headphones and pinpointer communicate via XP's patented protocol – around 10× faster than Bluetooth with virtually no latency.
Coil waterproof to 20 m
The FMF coil is submersible to 20 m – for beaches, shallow water and wet meadows.
Search area of the FMF coils
The larger the coil, the more ground per sweep. Smaller coils separate closely spaced targets better.
Relative search area compared with the 34 × 28 cm coil. All FMF coils are interchangeable.
The XP wireless system
All components communicate wirelessly with no latency – without a single cable.
Agile & precise
The small 22 cm coil separates closely spaced targets particularly well – ideal for trashy sites, woodland between roots and stones, and old settlement sites.
Mineralised ground
Automatic ground tracking and frequency shift against interference keep the detector stable even on difficult ground.
Coins, relics & militaria
Fine discrimination, notch and iron volume help tell good targets from iron trash.
Beach & shallow water
Coil and remote are waterproof to 20 m. With the optional bone conduction headphones you can dive to 20 m.
When another set is a better fit
- If you want the lightest possible set – the WS6 ST Master without remote is the better choice.
- If you want minimal weight on your head – the WSA ST weighs 72 g instead of 250 g.
- Very large open areas such as fields or beaches – the 34 × 28 cm coil is faster there.
