The XP DEUS X35 22 WS4 – often called "Deus Lite" – is the lightest DEUS configuration: you control the detector entirely with the WS4 module, headphones and control unit with display in one. No remote is included; it can be added at any time. The DEUS – today often called "Deus 1" to tell it apart from the DEUS II – is the wireless metal detector by French manufacturer XP Metal Detectors. The X35 coil in this set measures 22.5 cm (9").

The lightest configuration
Without a remote on the stem the DEUS weighs from approx. 875 g – fully operated via the WS4 module.
WS4: headphones + control module
The module detaches and can be worn on the stem or arm, so you can search without the remote.
Remote can be added
If you later want expert menus and the XY screen, simply pair a DEUS remote.
X35 technology
35 frequencies from 3.7 to 27.7 kHz, adjustable transmit power and BOOST in the low range for extra depth.
Compact & precise
The 22.5 cm coil separates close targets cleanly – strong on trashy sites, among roots and stones.
100 % wireless
Coil, remote, headphones and pinpointer communicate digitally – no cable to snag or break.
Coverage of the X35 coils
The bigger the coil, the more ground per sweep. Smaller coils separate close targets better.
Relative coverage, based on the 34 × 28 cm coil. X35 and HF coils are interchangeable on the DEUS.
The XP wireless system
All components communicate digitally – without a single cable.
Compact for tough ground
The nimble 22.5 cm coil handles vegetation and separates close targets – first choice on trashy sites, old settlements and in woods.
Mineralised soil
Automatic ground tracking, selectable frequency and adjustable transmit power keep the detector stable on difficult ground.
Coins, relics & militaria
Discrimination, notch and the graphic XY screen help you tell good targets from iron trash.
Beach & wet meadows
The coil is waterproof to 6 m and dedicated beach programs are on board. The WS4 is weatherproof – for the water there is the underwater kit.
When another set fits better
- If you want expert menus, the XY screen and all settings at a glance – a set with remote such as the RC WS4 is the better choice. The RC can also be added later.
- If you want to dive or search with simultaneous multi-frequency – the DEUS II is the right choice.
