Whites TM808 demonstration unit in new condition latest version / depth finder
The Whites TM808 has been developed to search for large and low-lying objects - small parts lying individually in the ground CANNOT be located. From a total mass of about the size of a 0.3 litre beverage can, localisation is only possible. The advantage of this is that large parts can be located quickly in areas heavily littered with small parts (e.g. aircraft crash sites or ancient settlement sites). Only the large parts are located, e.g. aircraft parts, steel-reinforced bunkers, buried weapon boxes or precious metal treasure deposits of all kinds.
The TM808 locates without metal discrimination, i.e. all metals are detected. This makes this easy-to-use depth finder also interesting for pipe and valve cap searches in civil engineering and road construction.
The greatest possible search depth that can be achieved on very large parts such as a small car is approx. 6 metres! This is very impressive because the best conventional top hobby pan detectors only reach depths of up to 2 metres. Even from the theoretical "find size" of a 1 litre thermos flask, the TM808 V.2012 is superior to a "normal" detector in terms of depth performance and is therefore particularly suitable as a supplement to the VLF pan detector to "rediscover" searched search sites.
