Quest V80 Metalldetektor

The Quest V80 has a frequency range of 5 to 80 KHz and features HyperQ technology, which allows you to use all search frequencies simultaneously. It is waterproof up to 5 metres and has a 4-part telescopic carbon rod that can be retracted up to 49 cm. The V80 comes with wireless Quest Wirefree Pro headphones and is equipped with a 28 x 26 cm Blizzard search coil for optimum performance. The integrated 5000 mAh Li-Po battery can be charged via a USB Type-C cable and lasts 10 to 15 hours on a full charge. In short, a professional top detector with a very good price/performance ratio!

Built-in gyro sensor
You can instruct the detector to start the ground balance automatically without manually pressing a button. Then all you have to do is find a spot where there is no metal and pump the search coil up and down. The gyro sensor detects this movement and then performs automatic ground levelling. You can also set the V80 to automatically activate energy-saving mode as soon as the searchcoil is not moved for 5 seconds. When you move the search coil again, it is automatically activated.

Versatile, waterproof and HyperQ
The V80's HyperQ technology is capable of transmitting multiple search frequencies of a wide spectrum into the ground simultaneously to find smaller objects with greater precision, even in difficult ground conditions. You can also set the V80 to a single search frequency, namely 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 or 60 kHz. In combination with its five search programmes (park, field, beach, gold and cache) and its water resistance up to 5 metres, the device is versatile. Display
The display of the V80 is backlit in several stages so that you can read all the information on the clear display at all times, even in bright sunlight. Unlike other matrix pixel displays, the reflective LCD consumes less power, saving energy so you can search for longer.

Compact design
The V80 has a 4-section telescopic carbon fibre pole which is very compact and can be retracted up to 49 cm, making transport and storage much easier. The armrest can be easily moved or removed from the handle with two screws. The handle, to which the control unit is attached, can be easily adjusted using a snap lock. Once extended and adjusted to your size, the V80 design is perfectly balanced for a comfortable viewing experience.

Different sound settings
If you want to identify buried objects by sound, you can set the V80 to your personal preference. You can choose how many different tones you want to hear, with a choice of 2, 3, 5 and 99 tones. You can also set the tone thresholds of these tones, e.g. a low tone for conductance values from 1 to 25, a medium tone from 26 to 70 and a high tone from 71 to 99. In addition, you can also set the volume and pitch for each tone.

Blizzard search coil
The V80 is equipped with the latest 28 x 26 cm Blizzard11 search coil. This double-D searchcoil is lightweight and robust and offers deeper penetration and greater resistance to mineralisation. (Optionally available is a 24 x 14 cm Blizzard9, which is included in the V80 bundle in addition to the Blizzard11).

Built-in lithium battery
The V80 has a built-in 5600 mAh lithium battery, which has more power and can be easily charged with the included USB Type-C charging cable. The battery life is 10 to 15 hours.

Automatic interference suppression
With the V80, you can quickly and easily perform a one-button interference cancellation that searches for the frequency channel on which no or little interference is received in 10 seconds.

Completely waterproof
The modern design is completely waterproof up to a depth of 5 metres under water. This means you can search with your V80 Metalldetektoren in all weather conditions and in any terrain without any problems, even under water. If your detector gets dirty during the search or you have searched in salt water, you can rinse it completely under the tap.

User-friendly with many settings
Despite its many setting options, the V80 is a user-friendly and easy-to-use Metalldetektoren that is suitable for all users. It has 5 different search modes and all the important functionalities such as pinpoint function, discrimination/notch function, object identification guide value from 1 to 99, volume control, ferrous bias, threshold, detection speed and even has a vibration function as a detection signal.
