APPLICATION

The UPEX® 740 M PI large loop search system is used for deep probing and rapid inspection of large sections of terrain. Depending on the vegetation, one unit can search areas of up to 2.5 ha per day. The UPEX® detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as alloys. It is ideal for searching for underground deposits, pipelines, storage facilities, manholes and sewer shafts, UXOs and other large-scale metal objects. The UPEX® 740 M is widely used, efficient, easy to use and easy to train. The UPEX® 740 M is superior to conventional Metalldetektoren with a conventional design in terms of depth penetration and area performance.

Optional: EPAD® data logger with EPAS® software available in various languages.

CONSTRUCTION

The metal detection system is portable and battery-operated. The support frame for the large loop can be assembled in 1 x 1 m or 2 x 1 m form. UPEX® 740 M is available as a single-channel or multi-channel system. The single-channel version can be used either hand-guided or vehicle-supported. The multi-channel arrangement is intended for vehicle use.

The EPAD® data logger stores the measured values from the search device for later processing and conversion into colour mapping. The EPAS® software displays the UPEX® 740 measurement data stored in the EPAD® data logger as two-dimensional colour-coded maps and/or as an ISO line diagram. This raw data is tamper-proof (ISO 9000) and ideally suited for GIS, QA & QC
