The Garrett ACE 300i is one of the best-selling series among the entry-levelMetalldetektoren. Garrett has given the most popular series an "i" update. The metal objects can be differentiated in the display according to guide numbers „Digital Target ID“. The guide numbers range from 0-99. Thanks to the even sharper audio tones, even better metal discrimination is possible. 8 sensitivity levels can be set and the notch response pattern setting can be used to avoid metal detections. The pinpoint function can be used to perform precise final searches.

The search depth depends on the ground conditions, object size and search coil. The Garrett ACE 300i can achieve a maximum search depth of up to 150 cm for very large objects.

Waterproof search coil

The search coil is waterproof and you can search in shallow water at lakes or on the beach. The housing must not get wet. It should be protected from rain.



Recognising metals according to the guide number

The "Digital Target ID" helps to identify metals. Shape, sizeöße and the type of metal determine the conductance. Iron and steel have a low conductance. Bronze, silver, lead, medium-sized pieces of jewellery, ... have a medium conductance. Gold, large jewellery pieces and large coins have a very high conductance. The conductance increases with higher mineralisation.

The ACE 300i generates three different tones. Low conductive objects have a low tone, medium conductive metal is heard via a medium-high tone and highly conductive metal is heard via a ringing tone.
