The Golden Mask 4Xtreme is the most powerful detector from Golden Mask to date. It is designed to be very easy to use, making it suitable for both professional treasure hunters and beginners.

The Golden Mask 4Xtreme utilises Multiple Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology, which allows the detector to achieve exceptional depth while maintaining its lightning fast recovery speed. This is because with modern Metalldetektoren there is always a trade-off between depth and recovery speed: If the detector is set to a fast recovery speed, depth is usually lost. Conversely, if the detector is set to a greater depth, the recovery speed is often reduced. This can lead to problems regarding the optimum setting, so that with other devices an area has to be searched several times with different settings.



The Golden Mask 4Xtreme has been developed by experienced treasure hunters who understand the needs of searchers. This Metalldetektoren combines great depth and fast recovery speed in a single device for maximum efficiency.

You no longer have to worry about whether your chosen programme is optimal for the ground conditions or whether you have overrun finds due to your settings. Using the Golden Mask 4Xtreme guarantees that all finds are displayed without any problems.

The Golden Mask 4Xtreme has been tested under demanding conditions, for example in areas with volcanic rock (hot rocks) and soils with a high proportion of ancient pottery. In these areas, the Golden Mask 4Xtreme has demonstrated excellent depth and performance.

Golden Mask offers an extensive range of search coils. For this detector we recommend the 9.5" Fighter-S coil. The coils provide a clean separation of ferrous and non-ferrous metal. This is particularly important when searching for small precious metal objects on old settlement sites. The Fighter-S coil has a higher depth performance and is also well suited for heavily mineralised soils. We recommend larger search coils to achieve higher depth performance for relatively clean soils.

Another highlight is the new high-quality carbon telescopic rod (visible carbon). The lower segments can be extended without the boom wobbling when swivelling.
