Bergemagnet David II
*New performance-optimised version with 40% more pulling force - load capacity now approx. 85 kg!
With the new high-performance magnet DAVID II, heavier iron objects can now also be recovered from water and other liquid media.
Special features of the DAVID II
Due to its specially rounded design, the DAVID II is much less likely to stick to the ground than square designs. Because of their wide and angular design, retrieval magnets with comparable or higher adhesive force often have the major disadvantage that they get stuck on stones or old wood and similar obstacles at the bottom of bodies of water and, in the worst case, have to be "abandoned"!
The DAVID II is ideal for searching old wells, shafts, ditches, streams and rivers, boat moorings, ponds, lakes and the sea.
It "feels" good in the hand thanks to its strongly rounded shape and has an ideal casting weight, even at long distances. If rust, paint or other impurities adhere, a corresponding loss of performance is to be expected. Nevertheless, the lifting capacity of these magnets should not be underestimated!
The DAVID II lifts all objects that have at least a small proportion of undoped iron or nickel - examples: Wallets with coins containing iron or nickel, key rings, mobile phones, cameras, many types of tools, boat accessories, various war relics and much more...
It can also make it much easier for a diver to retrieve underwater iron objects.
The DAVID II is also very well suited as an additional tool for explorers with Metalldetektoren, as there are always situations where the use of a recovery magnet is advisable.
