Whites Goldmaster®24k. With its 50% increase in coil voltage over previous models and a brand new XGB ground balancing system, take your search to new depths with the Goldmaster® 24k. This detector represents a new generation of VLF detection technology with features appreciated by professionals and hobbyists alike.
Starting with the industry standard 48 kHz operating frequency, Whites has combined all the important components in one detector to bring the user up to date. A large, backlit display shows you all the detector settings and important target information. The target diagram at the top of the display shows the iron, gold and high leat ranges, which are mirrored with target ID numbers from 0 to 99.

A brand new XGB ground levelling system can handle mineralised ground, unlike other VLF prospecting machines. For advanced users, TracLock and Ground Grab are just a button press away. You can even assign a ground levelling offset in both TracLock or XGB modes. The Goldmaster® 24k has a "ground scan mode" that allows you to identify where valuable mineralised gold veins are located in streams or overburden.
XGB (automatic ground tracking method)
XGB TECHNOLOGY is a patent pending automatic ground levelling system. It is specifically designed to operate a high frequency VLF gold nugget detector in difficult ground conditions. Traditional VLF detectors have difficulty balancing rapidly changing soil mineralisation and hot rocks.
With XGB technology, the Goldmaster 24k is able to track small changes in soil composition as well as longer-term shifts in soil phase and strength. This allows it to work in an environment where traditional VLFs fail. Users have extended control over the XGB range in the Goldmaster's All-Metal mode.
With 10 levels of adjustable sensitivity, adjustable audio volume with two levels of boost, adjustable discrimination, vSAT, adjustable threshold, non-motion pinpoint and a tone ID mode, the Goldmaster® 24k is possibly the most advanced VLF gold nugget detector on the market today. No need to scare savvy beginners, the Goldmaster 24k is also a "turn on and go" detector, with advanced features that you can grow into without sacrificing performance right from the start.
