High search performance, simple operation, high-quality workmanship
The Whites Matrix M6 particularly appeals to users who want high search performance and simple operation. The electronics box has a clear, tidy appearance and is also very user-friendly. The two rotary controls, Disc and Sens, are marked with the recommended factory settings to make a quick start even easier. True to the motto: Switch on and go.
The display is nice and large and easy to read. A located metal object is displayed with a conductance value, e.g. +60 as shown below. For a quicker overview, the measured value also appears in real time as a bar graph/marker at the bottom of the display, which can be compared with the conductance table of all metal types at the bottom of the box to help identify and categorise the located objects. This is a simple but effective and clear display concept that is pleasing.
For the visual representation of the localisations made in the display, the rocker switch underneath the handle can be used to activate 7-foldtone differentiation, e.g. iron = lowest tone 57 Hz / silver = highest tone 900 Hz. The perfect No Motion pinpointing in the centre of the search coil is also very good and unbeatable. This means that if the coil is held still over the located find, the loudest detection is made exactly in the centre of the concentric coil. This helps the user, for example, to locate a coin quickly and precisely in the circular section in the centre of the coil. A quick find is therefore guaranteed.
