This new wireless multi-frequency Metalldetektoren is unique in its features and performance. Once the coil, remote control, headphones and pinpointer are paired, they communicate with each other completely wirelessly and without delay (10 times faster than BlueTooth) using XP's patented radio protocol system.
This means that the finds/targets detected by the depth finder coil are transmitted to the headphones quickly and without delay, giving the DEUS II unrivalled speed and accuracy. The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programmes or between 49 individual frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graph below illustrates the sensitivity and iron discrimination capability as a function of frequency. The advantage of the XP Fast multi-frequency programmes, which cover a wider range of targets, can be clearly seen. This is just a basic schematic, which may vary depending on the programme and real terrain conditions, but you can see the greater find rate and search depth.

The internal settings of the DEUS II can be customised using the patented, shock-protected and waterproof remote control as the Deus II control module, also known as the RC. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescope boom on a practical clip holder or stowed in the belt pouch supplied.
Typical for XP, it only takes a few seconds to set up and dismantle the detector! And all without annoying cables! The patented FMF depth search coil can also be replaced in no time at all.
The 3-part S-telescopic boom, which has been slightly modified at the handle, swivels excellently, comparatively much better than straight telescopic booms. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle is very comfortable and non-slip in the hand. We think: There is no better way to hold a Metalldetektoren.
The XP Deus II remote control is IP68 certified and mechanically designed and waterproof for a diving depth of up to 20 metres.
With the Deus II, XP also presents the first optional bone conduction headphones for Metalldetektoren. The headphones generate sound using encapsulated transducers located just in front of the auricles, i.e. where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and offer the user the possibility to hear environmental sounds completely without obstructive headphone cups covering the ears.
XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (not included) can be used at depths of up to 20 metres and can also be used on land.
Lightweight, comfortable, foldable - XP's most popular headphone design is now also available as passive (without control/LCD) wireless headphones for XP DEUS II!
