The audio output of this DEUS II 34 FMC RC version without radio headphones can be provided either via the loudspeaker, the XP bone-sound headphones (optional), the XP radio headphones WSA II + WSA II XL (optional) or via standard cable headphones with a 3.5mm jack plug which can be connected to the remote control using the XP DEUS II audio adapter).
The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programs or between 49 individual frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graph below illustrates the sensitivity and iron discrimination capability as a function of frequency. The advantage of the XP Fast Multi-Frequency programs, which cover a wider range of targets, can be clearly seen. This is just a basic schematic, which may vary depending on the program and real terrain conditions, but you can see the greater find rate and search depth.

With the patented, shockproof and waterproof remote control as the Deus II control module, also known as RC, the internal settings of the DEUS II can be adjusted. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescope boom on a practical clip holder or stowed in the belt pouch supplied.
Typical for XP, it only takes a few seconds to set up and dismantle the detector! And all without annoying cables! The patented FMF depth search coil can also be replaced in no time at all.
The 3-part S-telescopic boom, which has been slightly modified at the handle, swivels excellently, comparatively much better than straight telescopic booms. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle is very comfortable and non-slip in the hand. We think: There is no better way to hold a metal detector.
The XP Deus II remote control is IP68 certified and mechanically designed and waterproof for a diving depth of up to 20m.
With the Deus II, XP also presents the first optional bone conduction headphones for metal detectors. The headphones generate the sounds with encapsulated transducers located just in front of the auricles, i.e. where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and offer the user the possibility to hear environmental sounds completely without obstructive headphone cups covering the ears.
XP Deus II bone conduction headphones can be used at depths of up to 20m and can also be used on land.
