XP once again pushes the high-end boundaries with the Deus II. This new wireless multi-frequency Metalldetektoren is unique in the world in terms of its functions and performance. Once the coil, remote control, headphones and pinpointer are paired, they communicate with each other completely wirelessly and without delay (10 times faster than BlueTooth) using XP's patented radio protocol system.
This means that the finds/targets detected by the searchcoil are transmitted to the headphones quickly and without delay, giving the DEUS II unrivalled speed and accuracy. Thanks to FMF® (Fast Multi Frequency) technology, the DEUS II performs excellently in all terrains and conditions, both on land and underwater.

The user can choose between the new fast and simultaneous multi-frequency programmes or between 49 individual frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz. The graph below illustrates the sensitivity and iron discrimination capability as a function of frequency. The advantage of the XP Fast multi-frequency programmes, which cover a wider range of targets, can be clearly seen. This is just a basic schematic, which may vary depending on the programme and real terrain conditions, but you can see the greater find rate and search depth.

The internal settings of the DEUS II can be customised using the patented, shock-protected and waterproof remote control as the Deus II control module, also known as the RC. The remote control can be attached to the S-telescope boom on a practical clip holder or stowed in the belt pouch supplied.
Typical for XP, it only takes a few seconds to set up and dismantle the detector! And all without annoying cables! The patented FMF coil can also be replaced in no time at all.
The 3-part S-telescopic boom, which has been slightly modified at the handle, swivels excellently, comparatively much better than straight telescopic booms. The ergonomically shaped rubber handle is very comfortable and non-slip in the hand. We think: There is no better way to hold a Metalldetektoren.
With the Deus II, XP also presents the first optional bone conduction headphones for Metalldetektoren. The headphones generate the sound with encapsulated transducers located just in front of the auricles, i.e. where the temporal bone meets the zygomatic bone. The headphones have an amazingly good sound and offer the user the possibility to hear environmental sounds completely without obstructive headphone cups covering the ears.
XP Deus II bone conduction headphones (not included) can be used at depths of up to 20 metres and can also be used on land.
The DEUS II is also a highly innovative detector design paired with the latest XP high-end technology of the patented FMF® technology (Fast Multi Frequency). With the new FMF search coils, the user enjoys unrivalled performance in search depth and comfort.
